Mark your calendars! Call your friends! Get ready for the first Made in the Shade Craft Beer Festival! Tasting tickets will be $15 presale and $18 at the door with 6 coupons for tasting included! There will be treats for all ages. The plans include live music from Michelle Motley and Diamond Back as well as Leslie Brooks and Second Wind. Food will include pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers and of course the Avoca bake sale with all your favorite goodies! Vendors will also be peddling their wares with jewelry, soaps, dip mixes and more available! And last but definitely not least, the festival will feature craft and domestic beers focusing on those from the great state of Virginia! Additionally these will be wine for sale from Molliver’s Vineyards and Winery for those who prefer.
Tickets will be available at Millers Jewelry in Altavista, at Avoca and through the Lynch Station Ruritan Club. So bring a lawn chair and come enjoy a day in the shade of the towering trees, listening to great music, sampling great brews, eating homemade fare, and enjoying some shopping!
