Campbell Countyresidents and businesses may recycle electronic devices on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Region 2000 Services Authority - Livestock Road Landfill Facility (
427 Livestock Road, Rustburg, VA); services provided in cooperation with
Scott Recycling. Local citizens are encouraged to deposit out-dated computers, appliances, and other electronic items in an effort to promote recycling of electrical components. This one-day service is free of charge; citizens do not have to be residents of
Campbell Countyto participate.
Acceptable electronics include:
•• Computer monitors (CRTs, Plasma, LCD displays)
•• Laptop and notebook computers
•• Televisions (console, projection-screen, Plasma, LCD)
•• Computer Equipment
•• Computer systems (CPU units)
•• Computer printers, scanners, plotters
•• Computer accessories (keyboards, mice, speakers, cords, cables)
•• External disk memory and hard disk drives
•• Circuit boards and electronic components
•• Network hubs, modems, and routers
•• Toner cartridges (ink jet and laser jet)
