It's almost time for Altavista On Track's 5th Annual Abbott Nutrition Giblet Jog 5k to be held Thanksgiving Day, November 24 starting at 8:30 AM in English Park in Altavista! Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female overall and in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, and 60+. Pre-register before November 18th for $15, thereafter $20. Registration forms may be printed at www.altavistaontrack.com. The registration form and entry fee should be mailed to Altavista On Track, P O Box 283, Altavista, VA 24517. Race day registration is from 7:15-8:15 AM and pre-registration packet pick-up is from 7:15-8:15 AM at the race site or November 22 and 23 at the Altavista On Track Office at Town Hall from noon-2PM. The event will be held rain or shine! Proceeds from this event will benefit Altavista's revitalization efforts.
