The Department of Labor's new overtime rules go into effect on December 1 and represent a significant and potentially costly change to the employment landscape for many businesses.
Attorneys Hunter Byrnes and Steven Gould of Byrnes Gould Law will discuss these issues and more at a morning program hosted by the Altavista Chamber of Commerce. They will focus on key implementation questions that businesses are facing, including the right - and the wrong - ways to explain to employees what these changes mean for their work schedules and paychecks.
This seminar is open to HR Personnel and business owners (Chamber Members and non-members). There is no charge to attend. A light breakfast and coffee will be available. Please click on the link above to register, or call the Chamber office, 434-369-6665. Reserve your seat by noon on Thursday, November 16.
